The Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Water Meters, ANFAGUA, born on May 5, 1987, as a nonprofit professional organization for assistance and coordination of Spanish manufacturers of measuring instruments for water. They were charter members: José Luis Macicior Errandonea of Iberconta; Enrique Escassi Santa-Maria, Contagua; Eusebio González García, Idro, José M ª. Font Artus, of the Society of Accountants, and Ramón Rodríguez Turull of Contasur. Over the years there have been some variations: stoppages and changes in the company name, so that at present, the companies that make ANFAGUA and year of discharge are MEASURING SAU Elster (05/05/1987) , Sole Society ITRON SPAIN (05/05/1987), Sensus SPAIN, SA (05/05/1987) GECONTA FLUID METERS (01/01/2011) And CONTHIDRA (21/01/2011)
