The Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Water Meters, ANFAGUA, born on May 5, 1987, as a nonprofit professional organization for assistance and coordination of Spanish manufacturers of measuring instruments for water. They were charter members: José Luis Macicior Errandonea of Iberconta; Enrique Escassi Santa-Maria, Contagua; Eusebio González García, Idro, José M ª. Font Artus, of the Society of Accountants, and Ramón Rodríguez Turull of Contasur.
